Repose in calm waters Barra
Grande turned into an important
Tourism destiny.
If one wants to find a pearl, he must open the mussel, which hides her.
Most of the rare and beautiful things of this world remain hidden, and
we need much patience in order to find them. You can say the same about
certain places, as Barra Grande, the angle of the calm and
crystal-clear waters. To get there, costs a lot of effort, but you can
be certain, that it is really worthwhile.
There are two possibilities to get to Barra Grande. The first is over
the rough earth-road BR-030 of 90 km. The turn-off to the BR-030 from
the BR-101 is in the proximity of Ubaitaba and it cuts the entire Peninsula de Maraú.. The second
possibility is to dare crossing the sea. In this case, you must drive,
to the small town of Camamu,
where from its bay depart not exactly modern watercrafts.
The difficult arrival has provided for that the place has conserved its
typical atmosphere of a fisher-village, with a nature practically
intact. If you get closer to the small village, which belongs to the
district of Maraú, you discover that the paradise is much nearer
than one thought and that the effort was worthwhile. Rub your eyes so
that you determine that it is no mirage.
You find yourself in front of one the most impressing landscapes of Bahia. What first of all call attention are
the beaches, bathed by the immovable seeming waters of the bay.
Furthermore, it is the silence, which surrounds everything at this
place. From the cradle of the leaves of the innumerable palm trees
along the coast until to the movement of the fishes, which can easily
be observed everywhere in the aquamarine-clear water, like a
Nature-Aquarium. It is not for nothing that Barra Grande is the destiny
of many divers.
